The value of the MCI420 index is expressed in points, calculated based on the aggregated market capitalization of the 420 largest memecoins by market cap. The formula for calculating the index value is as follows:

MCI Index (in Points) = Total Market Capitalization (in dollar $) of the top 420 Memecoins worldwide / devided by 100.000.000

In simpler terms, the MCI420 takes the sum of the market caps of the top 420 memecoins and divides that total by 100 million to express the result in index points. For example, if the combined market capitalization of all 420 tokens is $69,42 billion, the MCI420 index would stand at 694,2 points. This straightforward calculation provides an easily interpretable value that reflects the overall market health of memecoins.
